The Fan Journey
From sign-up to casting your first live vote in four simple steps.
Create Your Fan Account
Sign up with your email and password. Choose your club from the list of active teams — AFL, soccer, rugby and more. Your account is tied to one club at a time.
Buy Club Tokens
Purchase Club Tokens via Stripe before game day. Tokens are your voting currency — each vote costs 1 token. Top up your wallet any time from your fan dashboard.
Vote on Live Decisions
When your coach opens a poll mid-game, you receive an instant notification. You have a limited countdown window to cast your vote. One token = one vote.

Live percentage bars update every second as votes pour in from fans across the globe. Watch the result shift in real time — and see if your coach follows the crowd.
For Coaches & Clubs
The Coach Journey
From club registration to reading live fan sentiment on the sideline.
Club Admin Setup
Your club registers on the platform. A coach/admin account is created with access to the Coach Interface — a dedicated dashboard separate from the fan-facing app.
Post a Live Decision Poll
During the game, open the Coach Interface and submit a decision question with 2–3 options (e.g. "Sub #7 now?"). Set a countdown timer — the poll goes live instantly to all registered fans.
Watch Votes Stream In
The Event Streaming Bus aggregates votes in real time via the Voting Engine. Your dashboard shows live percentage breakdowns updating every second as fans respond.
Revenue Flows Automatically
Every token spent by a fan generates revenue. The Monetisation Engine calculates your club's share automatically — viewable on your Club Revenue Dashboard after each game.

Platform Architecture
Eight interconnected components working together in milliseconds — from fan registration to revenue distribution.
Fan Registration Layer
BetterAuth handles secure email/password sign-up and session management. Fan profiles are stored in MySQL via Drizzle ORM, linked to their chosen club.
Token Wallet
Each fan has a token balance stored on their profile. Stripe processes token purchases securely. Balances update instantly on successful payment.
Voting Engine
When a coach opens a poll, the Voting Engine accepts token-gated submissions. Each vote atomically deducts 1 token and records the choice against the poll.
Event Streaming Bus
Vote events are streamed in real time to all connected clients. Live percentage breakdowns update every second without page refresh.
Token-Gated Security
Only fans with a valid session AND a token balance ≥ 1 can vote. This prevents spam, bots, and duplicate votes — keeping results authentic.
Poll Countdown Timer
Every poll has a configurable countdown. When the timer expires the poll closes automatically and final results are locked and recorded.
MySQL + Drizzle ORM
7-table schema covering users, sessions, clubs, fan profiles, token purchases, polls, and votes. Migrations managed via drizzle-kit.
Monetisation Engine
After each poll closes, the engine calculates token revenue, applies the club's revenue share rate, and posts the result to the Club Revenue Dashboard.
